Cookie policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
This site uses no analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies, and no embedded third-party content.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser. Among other things, it is used to remember choices you have made or to count visits in aggregate.
2. What this site does
This site uses no analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies, and no similar tracking technologies. It loads no analytics or advertising tools and no embedded social media content: fonts, images and scripts are all served from the site’s own domain.
The hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) processes the technical data of each request, such as your IP address, that are needed to deliver the site and protect it against abuse, and may use security cookies where that protection requires it. According to Cloudflare, these are strictly necessary and are not used for analytics or advertising.
The site stores nothing in your browser’s local storage. As there are no cookies that require your consent, no cookie banner is shown.
3. If you have visited before
Until October 2026 this site offered optional analytics (Google Analytics 4), which only
ran if you accepted it. If you did, your browser may still hold the _ga and
_ga_<ID> cookies and your saved choice (va-consent): they are
no longer used for anything; the site deletes them when any of its pages loads, and you can
also delete them yourself in your browser (section 4).
4. How to delete cookies in your browser
You can manage or delete the cookies of any website in your browser settings:
